The opening ceremony was held for the inauguration of the Hamedan-Tehran railway. The 276 km project has been completed with a USD 258 million credit.
The Malayer-Firouzan railway, which has been completed with roughly USD 29 million, was also opened and started operation simultaneously.
Tracklaying process has been ordered to start for the Hamedan-Sanandaj railway.
