The World of Freight – WOF Expo 2022 international trade fair and conference gathered international speakers highlighting the latest logistics trends and insights including the supply chain and E-commerce.
The hybrid event took place on 12-13 October 2022 in Prague and was held under the auspices of the Ministry of the Environment of the Czech Republic and the City of Prague. Future WOF Events are scheduled to be yearly organised in the countries of the CEE region.
The key debates were not only about the current hot topics in digitalization like blockchain and AI, but an important part played the future of human resources in logistics in close cooperation with students and universities of the Central and Eastern Europe region. Other topics touched upon the sustainable approach within logistics, introducing green warehouse projects, sustainable city logistics and e-mobility solutions.
Companies such as Budapest Airport, Amazon, Quick Cargo Service, C.H. Robinson, Cargosoft, CEVA, DSV, DB Cargo Eurasia, Euromar, Turkish Cargo, Freightify, Gemini, Fedex, Luka Koper, Neon Freight, Proglove, Vienna Airport, TEU, Wings on board and MSC presented themselves at this year’s expo.
WOF Expo is a fair highly focused on networking. Participants can schedule personal meetings thanks to a digital networking tool by downloading an app and send a request for a meeting. The personal meetings are then scheduled to take place throughout the event in a reserved area.

Under the WOF Connect & Awards, CZK 77,000 (EUR 3,138) was donated to the League against cancer Prague.
In 2023, WOF Events will take place in Vienna on 22-23 March (the WOF Summit) and in Budapest – in the Autumn (WOF Expo).
