Indonesian train manufacturer Industri Kereta Api (INKA) will expand its railcar export to other countries in Asia and the Middle East after completing an order from Bangladesh. The company is preparing to expand its export to Vietnam, Sri Lanka and Egypt, according to President Director Agus H. Purnomo.
INKA has already exported 150 railcars to Bangladesh Railways to be used on its Sonar Bangla Express train, connecting the capital Dhaka to Chittagong. INKA will complete the delivery of its railcars before the end of this year.
