India’s Prime Minister Narendra Modi said that Centre will allocate Rs 28,000 crore (EUR 3.6 billion) for the establishment of 14 new railway lines in the Northeast.
“I took charge as the Prime Minister six months back and I would like to mention the initiatives we have taken for the Northeast. A packaged of Rupees 28,000 crores will be allotted to establish 14 new railway lines in the Northeast,” he said.
