Indian Ambassador to Tehran Shri Niraj Srivastava said that India wants to expand trade with the Central Asian republics and Russia through Iran benefiting from the Iran-India railway corridor.
He said that Iranian railway is of high importance for India’s foreign trade, and referring to a USD 15 billion trade between Iran and India, the ambassador said the trade can be increased as India encourages other countries to use Iranian route.
‘India asks Iran to help India expand trade with the Central Asian republics and Russia.’
