Hyundai Rotem was awarded a USD 316 million contract to supply Istanbul 300 driverless metro cars that will run on Kabatas-Mecidiyekoy-Mahmutbey line (M7).
Hyundai Rotem will start to produce the train units at its factory in Turkey in the first half in 2017 and aim to complete the delivery by 2021.
The M7 line, will have 23 km and 18 stations.
