Apple Maps is now offering transit data for Hungary, enabling iPhone users to receive directions for public transportation in Budapest, Debrecen, Szeged, Miskolc, Győr, Pécs, and other regions of the country. In the Budapest metropolitan area, Apple Maps includes the networks of the Budapest Metro, BKV buses and trams, and BHÉV trains.
MÁV-START trains are also supported throughout Hungary for long-distance routes, such as Budapest-Debrecen.
Apple Maps gained a Transit tab in iOS 9. Apple’s public transportation support is exhaustive, mapping all station entrances, listing departure times, and providing detailed advisories about service interruptions and other changes.
