Federal Transit Administration awarded Texas’ Fort Worth Transportation Authority (The T) a Letter of No Prejudice, that means that the construction works can start in August.
The Letter authorizes The T to use local fund to proceed with procurement of all materials and construction activities planned for the first six months. Construction on the rail line as well as all 9 stations will begin simultaneously when construction begins next month.
TEX Rail is a 43.4 km commuter rail line and will be the next passenger rail service coming to Tarrant County.
