Georgian Railway, Technical University of Georgia and Minister of Education and Science signed a Memorandum to set up the Railway Technical Professional School.
According to the memorandum, Georgian Railway will be involved in the project with all the infrastructure and laboratory base on which students will practice. According to the Contract, Georgian Railway will also be presented as the employer of graduates. Technical University of Georgia will carry out educational process in professional school with its staff, and the Ministry of Education and Science will provide professional school with programs.
The new professional school will be founded in Tbilisi and will have the European standards, the appropriate training programs, infrastructure and absolutely new management. So-called programs of dual education which successfully work in Germany will start to operate and it provides involvement in process of both, the State and the employer, providing students with working experience.
