RZD’s subsidiary Federal Passenger Company (FPC) will buy 74 double-decker railcars from Tver Car-Building Plant (TVZ). The value of the contract is 6.8 billion RUB (100.2 million USD).
TVZ will supply the coaches in April-October 2016 to FPC’s North-West and Moscow affiliates. TVZ, Russia’s only passenger railcar manufacturer, is the only supplier under the project.
