Rail Capital Partners and Newag signed a contract for the supply of five new Dragon 2 electric locomotives, including the provision of maintenance services. They will enter services in 2020.
The procurement of these locomotives is part of company’s fleet development project which envisages the acquisition of 50 locomotives in the next five years.
“This contract represents the beginning of cooperation with Newag. It is also a response to the market need to expand the company’s product portfolio and to continue our mission of offering our current and future customers modern and reliable vehicles. This is another step in the development of Rail Capital Partners. New vehicles will be available in 2020.” Ireneusz Kozłowski, CEO of RCP, said.
