“Twist trams are ecological and modern that will provide the inhabitants of Craiova and tourists with a comfortable journey. I would also like to thank Pesa for the design of these trams, taking into account the aesthetics and colors we proposed, referring to the colors of our city,” Lia Olguta Vasilescu, the Mayor of Craiova said at the ceremony.
In the next period, the new light rail vehicle will be tested with a load of 15 tonnes of sandbags to travel up to 500 km during nigh time. Following final stage of testing and acceptance, they will enter passenger services.
