The Innovation and Networks Executive Agency (INEA) has received 427 project proposals by the 16 February 2016 deadline for the 2015 CEF Transport Calls for Proposals, requesting EUR 12.96 billion in total EU funding.
The total available budget for the call is EUR 7.6 billion. Evaluation of the project proposals with the help of external experts will start in March.
The 2015 CEF Transport Calls for Proposals closed on 16 February 2016, with INEA receiving 427 project proposals under two calls: CEF-Transport-2015-Cohesion envelope and CEF-Transport-2015-General envelope
In total, EUR 12.96 billion were requested, whereas the available indicative funding is EUR 7.56 billion. This represents an overall oversubscription rate of 1.71.
The evaluation process is expected to be concluded by July at the latest, when the final results will be announced.
The calls opened for submission on 5 November 2015.
