Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles signed two contracts with Swietelsky Baugesellschaft and Eurailpool with a total value of HRK 87 million (EUR 11.6 million).
Under the contract, Đuro Đaković will deliver Swietelsky Slnps-type feight wagons and and Smnps wagons to Eurailpool, co-owned by Swietelsky.
Before building the prototypes for TSI testing and certification, this year Đuro Đaković Special Vehicles will design both wagon models. The delivery of the new wagons will take place in the second half of 2019. The wagons will be used to transport rail infrastructure products.
Slnps is a four-axle flat wagon used for the transport of various types of railway tracks and it is equipped with special features to accommodate such kind of goods, allowing an unobstructed movement of the portal crane along the whole wagon.
Smnps is also a four-axle wagon but it is used for container transport and can accommodate six containers.
