Construction of a Dry Port in the Khorgos-East Gate special economic zone in the Almaty province in southern Kazakhstan is to be finished at the end of 2015.
According to national railways company Kazakhstan Temir Zholy, which is building the Dry Port, the project’s implementation is in full swing and will be completed by December 2015.
“The Dry Port will become a strategically important, unique project. Therefore we should not stay aside; on the contrary, we should render every support,” said Almaty province Governor Amandyk Batalov, quoted by press service.
