Deutsche Bahn (DB) is taking a new attempt to strengthen their rail cargo transport in Austria and Hungary, as reports the daily newspaper Der Standard. The company selected the Austro-Hungarian Raaberbahn, namely the cargo transport subsidiary GySev Cargo, as a potential partner. The two enterprises intend to form a joint venture and handle rail cargo transportations from the Black Sea to Passau, Germany. Csaba Szekely, General Manager of Raaberbahn confirmed these plans.
