Czech Railways has signed a CZK 1.2 billion (EUR 43.5 million) framework order for upto 11 new two-car RegioPanter electric multiple units (EMU). The framework contract is valid for a period of 48 months and the first two units will enter service on the line linking Ostrava and Mošnov.
The Class 650 vehicles have a seating capacity of 147 and have a maximum operating speed of 160 km/h.
