CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive and Serbian company Nikola Tesla Thermal Power Plant have signed a procurement contract to deliver 2 electric locomotives.
The locomotive, with maximum operating speed of 140 km/h would apply to standard track, be designed to comply with EN and TSI European standard. CRRC ZELC will manufacture the locomotive based on its advanced design platform and rich experiences in overseas projects.
The China-made electric locomotives would run in Serbia for the first time after the award of contract.
