CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive presented a train set designed for Lahore metro, Pakistan, after it was rolled off from the plant in Central China’s Hunan province.
With stainless steel car-body, the 3M+2T train was designed for the 25.58 km Orange Line Metro in Lahore, Pakistan’s second largest city.
The metro train is fitted with heat-resistant bogies and with energy-saving air-conditioning system suitable for the constant high summer temperature.
The design combines the national flower of Pakistan and the shape of the dome of the Badshahi Mosque.
The designed maximum operational speed of the train is 80 km per hour.
The train will be delivered in July with another 26 units following by the end of the year.
