CRRC has restructured its freight train business establishing CRRC Qiqihar Group Co, with a registered capital of USD 1 billion (CNY 6.7 billion) and a total of 20,300 employees.
Headquartered in Qiqihar City (in the west central part of Heilongjiang province), company’s core business is the production of freight trains, which serves 54 countries and regions including Australia, New Zealand, the United States, Brazil, Kazakhstan.
Currently, overseas there are over 50,000 Chinese various kind of cars, such as ore cars with 40-ton axle load, container-car integrated container flat cars and hopper cars designed for transporting coal, cement and grains. CRRC Qiqihar has wide range of car products and advanced technologies, and, globally, its manufacturing scale and capabilities rank among the top. 
CRRC Qiqihar Group owns a diversified industry products represented by high-end equipment manufacturing operations such as containerised transport, environmental protection, air conditioning and intelligent machinery, which is in line with the country’s new development concept and has formed a certain market scale, with a good development trend and space to expand.
After the reorganization of CRRC’s freight business CRRC Qiqihar Group has five wholly-owned subsidiaries including CRRC Qiqihar Vehicle, CRRC Shenyang, CRRC Shijiazhuang, CRRC Shandong and CRRC Wind Power (Xilin Gol).
