Croatian builder Hidroelektra Niskogradnja has signed an agreement with local Zagreb-Montaza to carry out a portion of works on the construction of a new track and the reconstruction of the existing track on the Dugo Selo-Krizevci railway line.
The project is valued at 469.4 million kuna (62.6 million euro). The deadline for the completion of works is 27 February 2020.
In May, Croatia’s state-owned railway infrastructure operator HZ Infrastruktura and a consortium of local companies Dalekovod, DIV and Zagreb-Montaza signed a deal for the revamp of the Dugo Selo–Krizevci track.
The consortium will reconstruct the existing rail track, build a second track of the Dugo Selo–Krizevci rail route, erect six bridges and overhaul the existing seven bridges, construct 11 overpasses, one underpass and six underground passage ways.
