Chinese shipping and logistics services company Cosco is interested in Greek rail operator Trainose, according to “Naftemporiki”, quoting unnamed sources. Cosco would like to use Trainose for Asian products which arrive in the port of Piraeus to be transported on to the Balkans and Europe.
Watco Companies, the Kansas-based, short line rail operator, and an unnamed Greek group are also interested in Trainose.
The deadline for submitting binding offers is 26 April 2016.
