China CNR Corporation (CNR) signed the contract to supply 85 metro railcars (17 sets) for Izmir Metro. First three sets will be delivered in 19 months. Deliveries will be completed within 30 months. Project worths 192 mn TL (EUR 67 mn). Izmir Metro has a daily ridership of 350 thousands passengers. Daily capacity will reach to 750 thousands passengers with these new railcars.
