A consortium of China Railway Group Limited and its sixteen subsidiaries won the bid for the EPC contract for the second pahse of Guangzhou Urban Rail Transit Line No. 13 and simultaneously implemented projects.
The second phase of Guanzhou urban transit Line 13 runs from Chaoyang Station in the north, passes through five districts including Baiyun, Liwan, Yuexiu, Tianhe and Huangpu, and reaches Yuzhu Station in the east to meet the construction project of Phase 1, laying along Zengcha Road, Dongfeng Road, Huangpu Avenue and Zhongshan Avenue.
The line will be laid underground with a total length of 33.45 km, 23 stations and 23 sections. The project has a construction period of 54 months and a contracting amount of RMB 17.985 billion (EUR 2.3 billion).
