The contract for the acquisition of 16 such machines estimated at RON 29.5 million (EUR 6.3 million) will not be divided on lots and will be carried out on a period of 16 months since the attribution.
Works will be financed from CFR SA’s own funds.
The deadline for receiving offers or requests for participation is 29 January 2019 and the offers will be opened during the same day.
According to the tender book and considering the requirements of the multi-functional machines, the vehicles are self-propelled machines (with diesel drive) capable to operate on roads (with wheels with tires) and on rails (with guide wheels which could be lowered or raised using a hydraulic drive).
The supplier will be in charge of and will support all costs related to obtaining the railway technical authorisation for the multi-functional machine which has to be issued by the Romanian Railway Authority – AFER until the placing in service of the machine.
