Consortia including two units of Budimex have filed the lowest bids in two parts of a railway modernization tender organized by railway infrastructure operator PKP PLK for the Otwock-Lublin railway line. The total value is PLN 1.2 bln (277.9 million euros). The tender was divided into 8 tasks.
In one part of the tender, Budimex Budownictwo in consortium with Ferrovial Agroman submitted a winning bid of PLN 479.8 mln (111.1 million euros). In a second part, the best offer of PLN 734.8 mln (170.2 million euros) was submitted by Budimex’s unit Mostostal Krakow, PKP Energetyka and Schweerbau GmbH.
