Brazil is preparing a 5.4bn-real (USD 2.37bn) tender to award a concession for the Centro-Oeste (center-west) railway, also known as Fico, government news service Agência Brasil reported. The news was released by transport minister Sergio Passos following his participation in railway seminar Brasil nos Trilhos in Brasília. The concession involves 883 km of railway construction.
