Bozankaya has submitted the best offer for Antalya’s tram tender, the Metropolitan Municipality of Antalya has announced.
While the tender had an estimated budget of TRY 225 million, Bozankaya’s initial offer has the lowest value, of TRY 210 million (EUR 32 million).
The tender calls for the design, production and commissioning of 15 low-floor trams, including the provision of 3 years maintenance and supply of special equipment. In addition, the tender document also requires the delivery of spare parts as well as the training of the personnel.
The first tram is expected to be delivered within 14 months after the signing of the contract. The total duration of the project is 2 years (24 months).
The modern 100% low-floor trams will be 2,65m wide and 32-25m long. The fleet to be delivered comprises vehicles with 5 modules with 3 bogies and bi-directional trams.
This will be second tram project of Bozankaya in Turkey, after Kayseri. Recently, the Turkish company won two tenders in Romania. It will supply trams for Iaşi and Timişoara in near future.
