Belgium is planning a high-speed train route to Switzerland. According to Infrastructure Minister François Bausch in Luxembourg, the route should be operated with Pendolino trains.
Luxembourg would benefit as the route from Brussels to Switzerland travels via the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg.
Based on the information in local media in Luxembourg, particularly on Radio 100.7, the idea of the project is the result of discussions between Minister Bausch and the Belgian and Swiss transport Ministers.
