Bulgarian railway company BDZ has repaid the remainder of its debt to the European Company for the Financing of Railroad Rolling Stock (Eurofima). At the beginning of the month the company paid BGN 5.49 million (EUR 2.8 million) to Eurofima, and has now repaid the remainder of its 13.6 million BGN (EUR 6.9 million) debt. The debt to the financing company is now completely settled. The original amount of the loan was BGN 40 million (EUR 20.5 million) and it was used to purchase retrofitted rolling stock at the end of 2008.
