AnsaldoBreda won a contract of about 250 million euros for the supply of 47 driverless trains. The contract follows the signature of the agreement and the financing arrangements for line M4 of the Milan metro. The vehicles can carry 600 passengers and have a top speed of 80 km/h. The new metro line will link Milan’s Linate Airport to San Cristoforo railway station, with 15 stops over 14.5 km.
