Under its approved investment program for 2016, Aeroexpress will invest RUB 1.8 billion (USD 26 million) from the company’s own funds and loans, Aeroexpress General Director Alexey Sorokin announced.
Aeroexpress is to build a new roofed platform at the Domodedovo Airport and acquire Stadler double-decker trains. Previously the company expected to get the funds from the National Wealth Fund but does not count on that any longer. “Let us put it this way – we do not count on these funds any longer. We count on funds we earn or can attract as loans”, Sorokin said.
