MULTIPURPOSE INSPECTION VEHICLE (MPIV)
Harsco Rail’s Multipurpose Inspection vehicle is a specialized maintenance vehicle designed for use on both railways and roads. Equipped with advanced sensors and measurement systems, the Multipurpose Inspection vehicle can detect various types of defects, such as rail wear, track geometry, and alignment issues. The vehicle’s features include:
LASER-BASED PROFILOMETER SYSTEM:
Laser sensors that measure the profile of the track, detecting defects such as unevenness, twists, and bends.
ULTRASONIC INSPECTION SYSTEM:

OPTICAL INSPECTION SYSTEM:
