Sener won a EUR 2.7 million contract to provide dynamic preliminary engineering and detailed design supervision of Adif Alta Velocidad (AV) projects.
Under the 30 – months contract, Sener will be responsible for supervising high-speed rail projects in Spain that are submitted by third-party companies to Adif AV during this period.
“It’s great news that Adif AV has once again trusted in our knowledge and extensive experience in the field of high-speed rail, in which we are internationally also a benchmark,” Jesús Planchuelo, Sener Railway Director, said.
This is Sener second time in a row contract with Adif, with the previous similar contract ending in 2020, under which the company provides dynamic supervision services. Sener was involved in projects design relating to the Palencia-Aguilar de Campoo and Murcia-Almería high-speed lines, the high-speed railway’s integration in Vitoria city and the enlargement and refurbishment of the Chamartín station in Madrid, one of the most important rail stations in Spain.
