DB Cargo Romania leased five ES 64 U2 locomotives manufactured by Siemens from Mitsui Rail Capital Europe (MRCE) in full service leasing regime.
“The advantages of the full service leasing are clear, the possibility of using the traction rolling stock 24/7, maintenance, technical service and logistics provided by MRCE GmbH, based in Munich, Germany”, according to a Facebook post of România Feroviară.
Deutsche Bahn Cargo Romania has been present on the Romanian market since 2000, previously operating as Logistic Services Danubius.
With a rolling stock fleet of over 300 locomotives, MRCE is leader of the European market on the full service leasing of the locomotives. The company has two headquarters: MRCE B.V. Amsterdam, dealing with the lease, sale, acquisition and financing and MRCE GmbH Munich, responsible with maintenance, technical service and logistics.
