United Transport and Logistics Company – Eurasian Rail Alliance (ULTC ERA) sent its 3000th train from the beginning of 2018, that will follow the Nuremberg – Chengdu route. The train consisting of 41 40-foot containers follows the basic route of the company.
The containers will be overloaded from 1435 mm to 1520 mm gauge at the border crossing point Siemianówka (Poland) – Svislach (Belarus) at container terminal Andrex, and then the train will follow to Dostyk (Kazakhstan).
UTLC ERA launched its regular container service crossing Svislach in March 2018 due to the transit volumes increase in direction China – Europe – China through the territories of The Eurasian Economic Union.
From January to November 2018, the total volume of the company recorded a 58% increase, comparing to the similar period of 2017 (155 thousand TEUs), reaching 245 thousand TEUs.
In 2017, UTLC market its 1000th train in August, in Brest (Belarus). Last year, the company sent 2102 trains transporting 175.8 thousand TEUs.
