Vossloh won a EUR 35 million contract in China for the delivery of rail fastening systems for the planned high-speed line between Ganzhou in south-eastern China and Shenzhen, a city directly bordering Hong Kong. The rail fastening systems deliveries will start in 2020.
For Vossloh, this is the second contract in China. this year, the company was awarded a EUR 30 million contract for Zheng Wan Chongqing rail section. Vossloh said that the contract is underscoring the continued strong market position of Vossloh with rail fastening systems in the high-speed segment in the focus market China.
Vossloh has been present in China since 2006 and Kunshan-based Vossloh Fastening Systems China Co. Ltd. is one of the locally leading providers of rail fastening systems for use on high-speed lines.
