Serbia completes the modernisation of Kraljevo-Cacak line

Serbian railway network manager Infrastruktura Zeleznice Srbije has completed the overhaul of four sections on the Kraljevo-Cacak railway line with a total length of 31 kilometres. The upgrade allows trains to increase their maximum speed along the route to 100 km/h from 70 km/h.
Infrastruktura Zeleznice Srbije plans to complete by mid-November two bridges that are part of the route, which will allow trains to cross the bridges at speeds of 100 km/h. In the last month, as a result of overhaul works, the company reduced the number of railway sections with slow traffic by 18, Infrastruktura Zeleznice Srbije noted.
