CRRC Group, the controlling shareholder of CRRC Corporation, had signed a strategic cooperation agreement with China Railway Corporation. Taking the China Standard EMU as the pilot project, both parties will sign strategic procurement letters of intent, under which they plan to purchase and supply 500 China Standard EMUs with a speed of up to 350km per hour. The actual purchase quantity shall be subject to specific purchase contracts.
Both parties will jointly study the layout of advanced refurbishment capacity. CRRC Group will actively participate in the expansion of advanced refurbishment capacity by the subsidiaries of China Railway Corporation, and gradually compress the servicing time of advanced refurbishment and reduce the cost of advanced refurbishment.
Both parties will jointly set up a supplier management platform to form the information sharing and comprehensive evaluation system, so as to ensure the quality of procurement. Both parties will also conduct joint research tasks on basic theory, refurbishment technology, cutting-edge technology, key technology and standard revision works to enhance the level of equipment technology.
