CRRC Zhuzhou Locomotive will soon deliver the two new trains for Changsha of Hunan province. Compared to the old trains, the new models are upgraded, one of the obvious improvement is the weight of the vehicle, having 1.5 tons less.
The two trains will soon begin a trial operation, taking the number of maglev trains operating on Changsha Maglev Express to seven.
The first Chinese middle-to-low speed magnetically levitated rail line began operating in Changsha in May 2016.
