Patrick Jeantet, president of SNCF Réseau, officially launched ALTAMETRIS, a subsidiary dedicated to the data services collected in particular by drones. The subsidiary will offer improved monitoring and maintenance of infrastructures, services related to data processing and valorisation.
The creation of this new entity represents an important step forward in the industrialization of drones. It will provide cutting-edge solutions in the areas of maintenance and security, with a measurable industrial performance objective.
ALTAMETRIS also brings flexibility to “a growing business” , said the president of SNCF Réseau, whose subsidiary already offers its services to other infrastructure managers. The aim of this subsidiary is to work with all players, start-ups, industrialists and public authorities.
SNCF is a major player in the innovation of drones in France. The group has over 10 years of expertise in developing applications related to drones and adapting them to the specific needs of the network, whether for maintenance or safety.
ALTAMETRIS offers data collection by automated mobile drones and robots, the provision of 3D plans and models, necessary for any infrastructure modernization project and infrastructure monitoring through the identification of constituents and their condition and their evolution over time, with specialization on industrial and linear infrastructures.
