Centrosvarmash (CSM), part of Transmashholding, signed the contract and started shipping Bolster B20 welded elements to Alstom for their integration into Metropolis metro car bogies. The products of Centrosvarmash will be used for the design of trains to be operated in the Panama City metro system.
The three-year contract provides for the supply of 350 units of Bolster B20, a quantity sufficient to equip 175 metro cars. It is expected that 29 bolsters will be delivered to the customer by the end of this year.
