A new regular container train will be commissioned in September to deliver cargoes between Lanzhou, China and Kolyadichi, Belarus, informed the Belarusian Transport and Communications Ministry. The Belarusian state enterprise Belintertrans Transport-Logistics Center (BTLC) in association with Belintertrans Germany, interested exporters in China and importers in Belarus will offer regular transportation by container train between Lanzhou and Kolyadichi.
The container train will be able to ship any cargoes from China to Belarus. The travel time between the destinations in Belarus and China is estimated at roughly ten days. On 15-19 September the first train with 63 loaded containers left Lanzhou to cross Kazakhstan and Russia and arrive at the Kolyadichi terminal in Minsk.
