Przewozy Regionalne, a regional rail passenger operatorin Poland, intends to purchase new rolling stock and to modernise the existing fleet. The total value of the project is PLN 472 million (EUR 107 million).
For this project, EIB has under appraisal a PLN 200 million (EUR 46 million) loan.
The rolling stock will provide services predominantly to convergence regions, mainly eastern and northern Poland.
Last year, company’s CEO Tomasz Pasikowski announced that it will be invested PLN 500 million (EUR 114 million) to modernise the rolling stock.
