Following an international tender, Croatian rolling stock manufacturer TZV Gredelj has delivered a diesel-electric locomotive to Kosovo’s national railway operator Trainkos. The locomotive, intended for passenger and goods transport, was refurbished and modernised and will be incorporated into Kosovo’s rail network shortly.
Gredelj and Trainkos’ collaboration dates back to 2010, with the Croatian company having repaired and upgraded a number of locomotives for the Kosovo firm since then.
