Uralvagonzavod (UVZ) has design more than 10 of low-sided railway wagon model for Iran. 5 units have passed the certification, and another 3 are still under production.
“We will be ready, in the shortest time possible, to supply the necessary wagon batches, in accordance with the needs of the Iranian railways” UVZ CEO Oleg Sienko said.
The universal railway wagon on the 18-100 truck was specifically developed by design engineers of the Ural Design Bureau of Wagon Construction (as part of the UVZ) for the Iranian railways, according to their dimensions and axial load. It is specifically designed to carry non-aggressive non-powdered goods in bulk.
The low-sided railway wagon model 12-581-01 with a carrying capacity of 66.7 tons is installed on the 18-100 truck, design documentation of which provides the possibility of using it with 1520 and 1435 railway track. In this case, it is represented a modification designed for track 1435.
