Slovakia’s main rail operator has added SMS ticketing to its iOS and Android apps. With the new service, customers can select their route and type of ticket in the app, click ‘buy’ and a ticket is sent to them by SMS. In the first phase, the service is only available for the routes Trnava – Kuty, Cadca – Makov and Humenne – Stakcin. The rail company will assess the initial test of the service before expanding it across the network.
