Russian mobile operator Megafon has launched a pilot project on the introduction of an electronic signature service based on mobile Sims, Vedomosti newspaper reports. The project is carried out in cooperation with the company NIIAS, a subsidiary of the state-owned railway carrier Russian Railways. The new service will be used by 50 logistics partners of the carrier. Megafon plans to expand the amount of companies using the service to 1,000 by the end of the year.
