Sibirsky Delovoy Soyuz (SDS) sold Novotrans to entrepreneur Konstantin Goncharov. Novotrans provides cargo transportation by rail and is one of the largest independent carriers operating on the railway market in Russia and CIS countries.
Novotrans was put on sale in 2013. The company was reportedly sold without its contracts for freight transportation.
Novotrans owns 20,200 freight cars, from which 11,600 are leased to Federal Freight Company.
