Uralvagonzavod plans to increase production of innovative cars by three times in 2015, up to 18,000 units, according to UVZ’s Deputy Director General on Rolling Stock Andrew Shlenskii. According to Shlenskii, the volume of production of such cars this year will amount to 6,000 units. Overal, according to Shlenskii, total production of rail cars by Uralvagonzavod will exceed 20,000 units, while in 2015 this figure is expected to be increased up to 22,000-23,000 units.
